Kayaking > 5 days Kusawa Lake

Northwest of Whitehorse is the spectacular Kusawa Lake. This enormous lake has some great fishing, spectacular view and great beaches. These spots provide great campsites and nice little day hikes. (Sea kayaking schedules are kept fairly loose to ensure that relaxation and fun are the main priorities!)

Day 1
We’ll begin our day by arriving to pick you up around 9am and go over our gear to ensure we everything needed. Then we’ll head off for a nice drive to Kusawa Lake which takes approximately 1.5 hours. After unloading and packing our kayaks, we’ll head off down the lake

Day 2-4
These next 3 days are spent paddling, at our leisure, to different locations on the lake. We can experience the environment around us as we are free to roam and explore without a rigid schedule. This trip is about getting away from our fast paced lives and enjoying some hiking, fishing and backcountry cooking.

Day 5
After a leisurely breakfast, we have the option for a day hike above the tree line to view the lake we have just paddled, or others you may just want to lay on the beach or fish from shore. We’ll head back to Whitehorse where you can enjoy a hot shower and supper.

Cost $ 1000.00 p/p + G.S.T. (CAD)
