Tami
Hamilton is a skilled and experienced Guide
with many days logged in the backcountry. She has an Outdoor Educator
Diploma from the National Outdoor Leadership School, an Advanced
Wilderness First Aider, Sea kayaking Leader, Climbing Instructor,
Herbology Diploma, is a back country cook and, among other things,
a Naturalist. Tami has been an Outdoor Instructor for the City
of Whitehorse, and the Dept. of Education and professionally guiding
for a local outfitter for the past four years. Tami is a life-long
resident of the Yukon, growing up on the shores of Kluane Lake,
thirty kilometers from the nearest town, the wilderness is where
she feels at home. Tami is passionate about her family, the environment,
the Yukon and being in the outdoors, she’s fun loving,
always approachable and is a highly respected outdoors woman.
Denise
Schneider has been apprenticing with Tami
for the past four years, she has hiked the challenging Chilkoot
Trail three times, and skied hundreds of kilometers.
She likes to have fun and enjoy the outdoors. Denise is a wife and Mother of
two and has Early Childhood Development Certificates, highly organized and
efficient, she keeps us all on track! Denise’s fun loving nature keeps everyone in
high spirits and is an inspiration to us all.
